Resilience

Just as a starfish can regenerate lost limbs counselling can help you see yourself as a resilient being capable of bouncing back from adversity. You can build inner strength to overcome challenges and setbacks in life.

Adaptability

Starfish are also known for their ability to adapt to new environments and conditions. Counselling helps you to build flexibility to adjust to new circumstances. We explore new ways of thinking and behaving to navigate life’s challenges.

Self care and compassion

Deciding to attend counselling is an act of self-care. You will be encouraged to prioritise your well-being and practice self-compassion as you navigate through difficult times.

clients’ Feedback

I would just like to thank you once again for the support you gave me through my sessions with you. You taught me so much about myself and gave me the tools to help sort out my issues. Should I need more sessions going forward I will only be wanting them with you. THANKING YOU KINDLY

The Counselling

I was diagnosed with bipolar 15 years ago and have been hospitalized each year, successively. I have seen numerous professionals (psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists etc). I have been treated like a statistic who ought to be charged for sessions without any compassion or care for my well-being and/or recovery.

I lost hope hope up until I met Emmy in December. I've never looked forward to seeing a counsellor before but she's changed my perspective. She's compassionate, caring and goes beyond the call of duty. She's been my pillar of strength, my reason for holding on and striving to have a better life in general and great mental health in particular.

She's more than my therapist, she's family. I can NEVER thank you enough. You're truly GOD sent. Stay blessed!!!@

It is with great confidence that I can highly recommend Mrs Emmy Clark for counselling.

Mrs Emmy Clark possess many interpersonal qualities.

She is warm, very approachable, encouraging and invested in the success of her intervention and support for all her clients.

Mrs Emmy Clark exudes empathy and her deep concern, is nothing short of genuine.

Being an active listener, she ably assists her clients to confidently share their beliefs and deeply rooted feelings, values, principles, and morals.

This results in her clients being able to bring about the change and confidence needed to face their unique personal and very real concerns.

She successfully achieves this by helping her clients to confide in her and thereby identify and solve their stresses and confidently express their dissatisfaction with the often-tragic circumstances that life has thrown at them.

Mrs Emmy Clark is extremely trustworthy. She always places great emphasis on confidentiality.

She continuously demonstrates a sincere openness, honesty, and approachability in her professional attitude.

This is, I believe, the basis for her solid ethical core, of her fair and non- judgemental and very successful practice.

Mrs Emmy Clark is extremely compassionate, empathetic, and caring in her counselling and approach, to her client centred practice.

The positive impact of her outstanding work and dedication, is noted as she reaches out to her clients regularly and as the need arises.

This results in Mrs Emmy Clark’s clients achieving the desired confidence and self-belief necessary to make positive pleasing progress, as well as the changes that they need to make in their personal lives, with grace inspired hope and optimism.
